The project

A simple, fast response to climate shocks

Anchor is preparing a pilot designed to provide, after a flooding event that meets pre-established criteria, rapid financial support to vulnerable farming households. The goal is not to cover losses in full, but to help families preserve essential spending and get back to work.

87%
of surveyed households earn most of their income from farming
400
farming households covered under a local reference program
388
households received a payout after the August 2025 climate event
